Montreal Life Part 2
Okay, we are back! Back in Montreal! Exciting stuff! I love Montreal...it is so pretty and lovely and amazing to wander through. It has changed a lot since the last time I was there around 10 years ago. Well, Old Montreal has anyway. Still cool though!
I love the mix of clean lines and then oldness. I'm a great describer of things, yup I am!
I am OBSESSED with kitschy stores, and Old Montreal is jam packed with them.
You can't go to Montreal and not have poutine, duh.
So frigging good. Who knew cheese curds and gravy could be so delish?
Then we took a walk by the waterfront, to work off the 10,000 calories we had just consumed.
I had always wanted to visit the Notre-Dame Basilica, but was never in the mood to pay the $10 to get in. To a CHURCH. But I did it this time, and it was worth it.
Calm down boobs.
Lighting a candle for my mom. I don't really believe in that kind of stuff, but sometimes when terrible things happen in life, you need something.
Fleur-de-lis!
A weird underground place where we want to the washroom where water dripped down the walls. Cool.
And then we began the LONG drive home, that of which did not quite take 8 hours (thank the lord), but definitely gave good sky.
Peace out.
