Office Fantastic

Let's take a little tour of my office shall we?

I am a firm believer that you should make your office space your own: with photos, paintings, and whatever other personal touches you might enjoy. After all...you are there for 8 hours, why not make your space pretty?

My gorgeous Ikea plant seems to be thriving. It adds such a nice pop of color to an otherwise drab office.

I also added some photos from home. A fun quote and a pretty lamp make the space brighter (I don't have a window in my office boo!).

This area still needs some work. I want to bring in some of those flameless candles and a few other things to put on this shelf. Also, that painting needs to go. I will replace it with something a little more current and colorful.

A spot for my jacket and shoes to be hidden away (behind the door) is nice so that it doesn't look cluttered or messy.

Look at the difference just a few personal touches make.

I do love my little office, even though it is still a work in progress! I will make sure to do another tour when I feel like it is done. I want to add a mirror to catch the sun from across the hall, add a few paintings and a few more little things to really make the space feel cozy and like my own. So far so good though! Everyone around here keeps asking me to decorate their own offices, so that's nice!
