My Life in a Nutshell...or a Week...Whatever.
Last Tuesday was the most beautiful day ever. It was 10C and sunny, the birds were chirping, and I was too warm in my winter jacket. It was a perfect Spring day.
The very next day we had the worst snowstorm of the Winter. 15-20cm of snow, freezing cold, and just an awful day. My normal 20 minute commute on the bus took over an hour. It was brutal.
But it was all ok! I got some makeup to play with in the mail (Ipsy!) and it made me happy.
Dinner at Cantina is also enough to fix the winter blues. Although we were quite disappointed this time around. The quality has gone down a lot, and it's an expensive place to begin with. I don't know that we will go back.
Dave made the best pumpkin pancakes on Saturday...I am drooling just thinking about them.
Running errands.
Sunday. Running more errands.
Doggie!
My 8 million dollar Frye boot BROKE. I can't even believe it. I currently have it held together with a clip. And will attempt to sew at a later date. How annoyed am I?
Oh well. There are worse things in life. Working in a hospital, I have especially come to know this.
I get to sit and gaze out a window at the pretty scenery, and read my book during my leisurely hour long lunch.
So I'm pretty lucky.
Mustard!!! YES!
Stay tuned for a little tour of my office. Coming soon!
