Busy Girl...Need to Slow It Down
I went from being off for a year and just chilling at home all day to being super busy, once again. Between work and life, there is hardly any time in between for much of anything else. At least it's mostly fun stuff that is occupying my free time.
Like sushi dates with Dave.
Where I tried eel for the first time.
A cat that loves lemons (she was trying to get at it like crazy!).
Ha! Her talon in Dave's finger.
Work selfies.
Appointment with my hematologist and packed subways.
How else are you going to entertain yourself in a hospital?
Afternoon drives to Orangeville for another doctor's appointment (and more practice driving for me!).
Old haunt in Orangeville: the Winchester. I hadn't been here in YEARS!
Had to have a deep friend jam butty. It's literally a jam sandwich deep fried. Yes please!!
Drank with these hoseheads (Adam and Nick) on Saturday night. It's always a good time seeing these guys.
And Jack!! Love hanging out with Jack, he's the best. Our attempt at pictures at this point says it all.
Oh hey there we go. Hi Jack!
Yesterday (Sunday) Dave and I loaded a thousand pound bed into the back of a pick up truck (exaggerating...kind of) and drove 2 hours to London to deliver it to my parents. Only the 2 hours took 4 because of traffic. Didn't get home until almost 10PM and then watched the Walking Dead finale at 11PM. Needless to say, this girl is exhausted today.
Busy weeks can be fun and make the time go by fast, but they can also run me down sometimes. I think this weekend we are going to a VW dealership to inquire about buying a car, and that's about it. The rest of the time will be spent lounging in my pjs, drinking coffee and playing video games or reading. If it's not raining, MAYBE I'll go for a run.
Do you call a time out when life runs you down or do you keep on keeping on?
