January Slush
It's raining today, and gloomy. And the seconds have been creeping by for this work day to be over.
I hate Friday's for that reason, and that reason alone. Did you know that following Saturday, Monday is my favorite day of the week? I don't mind Monday's: you have had two days between yourself and your workplace, two days of rest/ sleep, two days of video games and reading books and watching movies with the ones you love.
But Friday...ugh. Yes, the prospect of a full weekend looms ahead, and this is exciting! But the time it takes to get to the end of the day on Friday feels like a whole other week in itself.
And I am not even going to start about Sunday...especially Sunday night. DEPRESSING.
This is what my week looks like, weather-wise. I swear these Canadian winters are going to be the death of me. It's either super warm and raining (gloomy), or super cold (gloomy). I don't mind either of these things on their own, but when one creeps into the others' season, it pisses me off! Get out of here Spring!

This weekend will be about wrapping up in a blanket and playing video games, working out, and reading. Possibly with the biggest mug of tea I can find.
At least Girls comes back on Sunday!
