No Junk Food Challenge: Days 4 & 5

Phewf! These two days just flew by!! I am guessing that is a good sign?  So far so good everyone. I get huge cravings for the sweet stuff and it hits me hard, but then two minutes later, it's gone as quickly as it came.

Despite being really tired (crashing?) from lack of sugar, I have learned that eating an apple helps.  Whenever I get low energy, I just have one of those and I am good to go.  Friday night I was so tired I didn't even know my own name.  Thank god that has passed.  I also spent Saturday night looking up cupcakes here (no seriously go here.  I took the liberty of linking to the page that I personally think is the best), for when this 30 days are over, it will be time for a treat!  Just kidding.  I am going to try and keep at this...not deprive myself because hey, you only live once right?  But I would like for my life to last as long as possible!

I also stumbled upon something pretty interesting regarding acne and your diet.  Since I have acne, I thought that this revealed a lot. Take a look here:

and then click on this link here to read about what each zone of your face means in regards to acne.  I am a 3 and a 9 & 10.  Liver and respiratory.  Respiratory I knew on account of having awful allergies that cause asthma like symptoms, but liver, I did not know.  Time for a liver cleanse?  They say for respiratory to cut down on caffeine intake, dairy, meats, alcohol and SUGAR.

All in all, I can't believe it is day 5 already.  It hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be, but I also haven't been faced with too many challenges.  I am sure something will come up to try and throw me off track.  I will remain strong when that time comes (whimper!), and persevere.

Oddly enough, I don't really feel any different?
